The very popular Youth League will be offered on Sundays for the 2020-21 curling season. The league runs from late October (beginning Oct 18) - late March, with games played most Sunday's at the Callie and Highland Curling Clubs. Please pre-register on-line. If you have pre registered and submitted payment please be at the Callie for 3:00 pm. We will have a an overview of the Youth League, rules and etiquette at 3:15 pm in the lounge at the Callie Curling Club. Ice time will be available to all curlers immediately after the overview for teams to practice.
Novice, for those curlers 15 and under. Each player must be 14 years of age or under on June 30, 2020. i.e. they must be born after June 30, 2005.
You may enter individually, as a group of 2 or 3, or as a complete team. Any combination of girls and/or boys is acceptable. Those entering individually will be placed on a team.
This is a non-instructional league. Therefore, previous instruction and/or experience, such as Curl for Kids, is beneficial.
Games are played most Sundays, from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. … sliders and brooms are provided.
